Fundraising
At its heart, the PTO is a fundraising organization. We need to earn money to give it back to the kids and the teachers. Each year, we spend, and therefore need to earn, almost $40,000. This money is carefully used to enrich the educational experience for our children, support our teachers, and build community. There is no singular way for us to reach our goals. We try to make fundraising as painless as possible for the Brown community by offering a wide variety of options.

Direct Donations
The easiest and most effective way to support the PTO is by direct donation. This way 100% of the money goes directly to achieving our goals. Your direct donation to the PTO is tax-deductible as we are a non-profit organization.

Corporate Donation Programs
Many companies offer schools a simple and painless way for PTOs to earn money. The Brown PTO participates in Box Tops, Minted, and Mabels Labels. Please participate as widely as you are comfortable and pass the message along! Anyone can scan box top receipts for us, or use our fundraising codes for Minted or Mabels Labels!
