Mass Audobon Visits 1st Grade!

On May 5th, the first graders had a Wild Adaptations presentation from the Mass Audubon Society.  The students met wildlife (an owl and a turtle) while learning about specific adaptation connections, such as coping with seasonal changes, life cycles and stages of development.  The interactive presentation gave students a chance to ask questions as well as get an up close look at parts of the animals, such as turtle shells and feathers.
