Sarah McNeeley
Co-President
Sarah and her husband Paul have 3 girls- Abby (former Brown Bear, now going into 7th Grade), Livvy (former Brown Bear, going into 5th grade) and Evie ( starting Kindergarten!)
I joined the PTO when Abby started Kindergarten as a way to get involved, meet other Brown families, and help give back to the school! I love the community aspect of elementary school and enjoy planning events that bring our families together while also giving back to our students, teachers and staff at Brown!
I'm looking forward to a great year of fun events for our Brown Bears, cultural arts programs, assemblies, teacher and staff appreciation events meeting new families, and the Auction!
Joining the PTO is such an excellent way to give back to the school, students and teachers, and to connect with other families and school administration. It's fun to be a part of the PTO - and we're always looking for more members and event chairs! :)

Olivia Peters
Co-President
My husband Ryan and I have 3 kids- incoming kindergartener Madeline, 4th grader Vince and a 6th grader at Kennedy.
I joined the PTO several years ago because I was so impressed with the wonderful job our PTO does of creating a sense of community and meaningful experiences for our kids during their time at Brown, and I wanted to be a part of making that happen.
This year I'm looking forward to our favorite school events like the Fun Run and Pancake Breakfast, and reuniting with great friends and amazing teachers! -

Colleen Woodson
Treasurer
My husband Ross and I have one daughter at Brown, Madeline (2nd grade) and one Brown School alum, Nicholas (5th grade). I joined the PTO last year as Treasurer to support our students, teachers, and our school community!
The Brown School PTO does an impressive number of efforts and events, and I’m so grateful for everyone that organizes them, volunteers, and participates. I enjoy the opportunities to connect with other parents and school administration and continue to create a thriving school community for our kids!

Marina Breed
Secretary
I'm Marina and this is my fourth year helping out with the Brown PTO. My husband Jon and I have two kids - David, who is a former Brown Bear and now a 5th grader at Kennedy, and Jamie, who is in 2nd grade at Brown. My kids have had such a positive experience at Brown, in large part thanks to all of the events we have and the tight community we've built!
I joined the PTO as a Cultural Arts co-chair a few years ago to be more involved in planning fun events for the kids and to get to know others in the community. I still work on planning cultural arts and science events, and also have been volunteering as Secretary over the last few years to give back even more. I believe it takes a village to create a great childhood for our kids and I feel fortunate to have the time and ability to give back.

Emily Siu
VP of Volunteers & Community Events
My kids are Elliot, who is in 1st grade, and Parker, who is in PreK and will join him next school year. This is my second year on the PTO. I joined when Elliot started kindergarten to get involved with the community and help create the kind of school experience I would love for my kids to have. We are looking forward to this year's Fun Run and making new friends!

Molly Norris
Co-VP of Communications
My name is Molly and this is my first year on the PTO board. I am sharing the role of VP Communications with Katie. My husband Joe and I have two kids at Brown- Ceci will be in first grade this year, and Hannah will be in third grade.
Last year I helped out with the Wicked Fun Run (a Norris family favorite) and saw just how much help is needed to put on all of the PTO events that my girls love so much. I’m also a third grade teacher in Newton and see first hand how impactful the PTO is for teachers. Because of all of this, I decided to volunteer for this new role.
This year I am looking forward to more amazing events that support our students and staff!

Katie Jafarli
Co-VP of Communications
I’m Katie Jafarli and my husband Elnur and I have two kids at Brown: Isaac, a 4th grader and Maya, a 1st grader. This year will be my first year on the PTO Board as the Co-VP of Communications with Molly Norris.
I joined the PTO because I have really enjoyed volunteering over the last few years and because our family has benefited so much from participating in all the amazing events the PTO organizes. I really appreciate the sense of community the PTO creates for our Brown School students, parents, teachers and staff!
I’m looking forward to another great year at Brown! I am especially excited about the awesome fall events like the Wicked Fun Run and Pancake Breakfast!
